File Guides for sale

Thanks guys for the orders. It looks like the stainless steel is winning the race on file guides. I cant remember seeing any stainless guides offered before so maybe we are onto something with these.

Bruce I would like to order a 3" version (stainless or W1, doesn't matter). I would like to use it for my integral knives, is it possible to make it, that it will fit a 1" piece of steel (thickness)?

Yep, I can get longer bolts and pins although they may be cumbersome when used on a standard blade thickness.

Bruce, put me down for 2 of the 3 inch models in stainless.

Hi Bruce if you are o.k. shipping to the U.K. i would like a 3" stainless please,

Happy to pay the extra for shipping

Hi Bruce,

Is there any downside to using the 3" version on 2" or narrower blades? (99% of what I would use it for would likely fit the 2" version.)

Thanks

Hi Steve, I see no problem at all. Not sure how much extra shipping is involved but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Thanks,
be sure you email kristabump@hotmail.com to be on the list.

The 3" will do the wide Chef knifes but I've ground regular Chef knives in my 2". I've personally never needed the 3" but the extra capability at no extra cost is attractive. The extended version may be even easier to grip when grinding, I cant imagine the extra length being a problem.

Hi,
Are you still accepting orders for these and would you consider sending a 3" SS guide to Australia for me?

I just looked at your website for the first time and I'm amazed by every knife on it. Stunning.

Thanks,

JR.
