Firearm EDC among Becker Users

When I'm able to carry I carry this, my Glock 17 in either a Comp-tac belt holster or a Glock Sport-Combat holster. The cheap Glock holster holds the gun in as close or closer than anything I've tried.

But working at a nuclear power plant, I'm forbidden to even have a firearm in my vehicle, which means that I can't carry for the biggest part of my driving.

Colt 1911 45 ACP (Fall/Winter) or Sig P228 9mm or Glock 26 9mm. Oh, and my house gun is a Remington 870 police with 00 buck.

Nice to see some german guns here! Good stuff, I'll probably own one (or several) myself some day.

Are you a novice shooter smoakie? If so, my advice would be to go to a well-stocked gun store and find a salesman who will spend some time with you letting you handle various weapons. While he's explaining the features, he can be imparting basic safety concepts too, and you can begin the process of finding what feels good in your hand(s). Even if you're an intermediate or advanced shooter, feel is a fairly important part of the choice you're getting ready to make. I'm not saying that a Sigma is not a good choice, personally I think they're great guns and a good value. I'm just saying that a friend telling you to get one is not a good way to make that choice.

I am not a novice shooter, I have been shooting for about 20 years now, but I only own a Daisey 22 bolt action with a 13rd magazine rifle that I got for my 11th birthday and it is currently in California with my mom. I really need to get it back. I have shot alot of 40's, I don't think that I shot a Sigma, but I have held it and it felt pretty good, I think that it is pretty comperable to the Glock, but way cheaper. I really like the Colt 45 1911, but I cannot afford one and they do not make very good carry guns...heavy. I am going to go to a gun shop and look around when I get around to buying one. Thanks for the info.....I was just wondering what other people thought about the Sigma.

My EDC/CCW is a Steyr M-40-A1 in a K&D OWB holster with 12+1 rounds of .40 S&W Cor-Bon DPX and a Spyderco Military knife with a fully serated blade. In hot weather in some clothing configurations I will carry a Walther PPS 9mm since it conceals a little better...6+1 for maximum concealment and eight round mags for other occaisions. Again a K&D OWB holster and with 9mm Cor-Bon DPX.

Remember the first time you picked up a full size Becker and how "just right" it felt in your hand? That's how it was when I first picked up a Steyr. That was several years ago and I'm up to 4 Steyr pistols now. I got my first Becker, a BK7, a few weeks ago and I'm starting to see a lack of inventory problem...hmmmm.

Yeah... I remedied mine in about 4 weeks. Within a month I have aquired an 11, 2, 9, 7 and Beckerhead status. You could say I became a little obsessed.

That is a great stippling job.

i wont say i edc it, but i have a browning 9mm hp clone, hungarian made.
got such a great deal on it i couldnt turn it down :D

Got the Kel-Tec PF9 in today. Took a group shot, but since that shot was not laid out to some stranger's standards of political correctness and they found a picture of four guns laid out in a symmetrical pattern oh-fen-siiiiiive, I went ahead and deleted it just in case he has like-minded nincompoops wanting to stir a pot out here on the open boards (this thread was moved from a less-traveled area of the forum).

Sorry if some of the following posts won't make sense to people seeing this for the first time. They can change their posts if they want to. I didn't want to, but I didn't want to explain or defend myself again even more, so there ya go.

I tell ya, I wouldnt trade anything for my Browning HP. Its a .40 which are no longer in production, and its over 20 years old, I'm the only person to ever fire it. I'm only 25, I bought it from a guy who purchased it, never took it out of the box and put it in a safe. That thing is accurate dead nuts. Out of 10 rounds at 15 ft, I can put 3 in the same hole.

I really hope that the shape you created with the guns is an honest mistake , and I expect you will remove it since it is extremely offensive .

Stifa, I dont know Blues personally, but we agree on many things pertaining to Liberty and I am positive that this was an honest mistake. I can also understand how you are tremendously offended by it, I may not be here today if my great grandmother's family had not been fortunate enough to have enough money to send her and her brother from Hungary to America for safety. I hope Blues sees this soon and understands why you are offended. Sorry brother.

As described by Bluestringer, this is a pinwheel display of his pistols.
Why read into it, something it's not

Because even tho Blues meant nothing by it, someone is offended. Simple enough. Even as loosely related as this image is, it still resembles something that is a huge scar on the past of stifa's culture. As I stated above, it is also a small part of my family's past, so I can understand. Please try to employ some empathy. If it offends someone, then it should be removed, no worries.
