Firesteel or Firepiston? For the Beckerheads

I've seen vids of the fire piston, and as cool as the concept is, it seems a little on the gimmicky side. I'd prefer the firesteel.

ya know? i'm sick to death of batoning, and firesteels. i want a unique idea. or else. go!

How about a magnesium batoning stick that burns the wood as you baton it? Talk about convenience!

I've never used a piston but I've seen them in use and I gotta say, not a fan.
