In section 4 in the original post, the photo talking about the scales. It appears that the two locking surfaces are not ground with matching angles. Is this so or is that pic a bit deceiving?
If indeed the surfaces are at not at matching angles, then only the inner part of the frame lock is contacting the blade. This might very well be the cause of the unlocking under pressure.
Maybe some more pics of the locking surfaces will help.
