First "high end" knife

I hear you. I've been looking to get another and they just aren't in stock anywhere. When they are eventually back out, make sure and pick one up, but the Sage 2 is great in its own right. I was in your shoes just a few years back; in college and pinching my pennies, so I understand the desire to make the right choice on a big purchase. You did with the Sage 2. Amazing value for the price IMO. Hoep you enjoy it!

Keep an eye on the exchange section. Deals pop up all the time, but they go fast. I've been wanting a PM2 for a while. Still have yet to get one. Blade/handle length ratio seems a bit small. But then again so too is the Sage II. hehe

I just bought a Aogami Super Blue Caly 3.5 and I should have it sometime next week. I know what you mean about the lockback thing. For me ease of use is really important and for that reason I stick with BMs Axis lock all the time. BUT lately I've been forcing myself to carry my Endura more and I'm getting used to it. Once you get the hang of closing it with one hand it's pretty fluid. It's not fast, but it's relatively easy to do. Once lockbacks get worn in they get very smooth.
