First Impressions of Rambo IV Knife?

Looks like a good tool. I think that in the movie, it shows him forging his own knife. I'll have to watch the trailer again. I joined the Army because I liked First Blood so much. :o

IF you look at that trailer at around 24 seconds, you clearly see a Lile style knife.

It has a somewhat home forged look to it too.
Though it sure has that classic rambo-style, sawback, big clip point, round handle(?)...

Personally, I'm struggling with the knife's appearance. It just doesn't have the "sex appeal" and "lines" of the first three knives. However, I must say that the new knife does fit the tone of the movie trailer. All business. ;)

That's 61 year old, Sylvester Stallone, who is in better shape than probably 95% of everyone on this forum. :p

Hey, we could all look like that if we had a full-time personal chef, full-time personal trainer, spent three to four hours a day in the gym, and dropped thousands of bucks a month on designer steroids. :D:D Sly's ageless image took a bit of a hit last year when he was busted at an Australian airport with 48 vials of HGH in his luggage. (HGH = human growth hormone) He eventually pled guilty to the charges of importing banned substances into the country of Austrailia. (BTW, steroids or not I still love the Rambo series :D)

That might be true, but you're forgeting one thing: Having the commitment and self discipline to spend that 3 to 4 hours a day in the gym. That's where most people fail.

Well, they've got to have him using a knife that's easy to produce, cheap to produce and which looks neat. I'm surprised to find that Sylvester Stallone is going to be in this one and that he's apparently not killing any desert vermin, wrapping them in pork bodies and dumping them into inaccessible gorges in Afghanistan.

The two biggest questions are going to be: who made his knife, and who made his walker? His biggest challenge will be in escaping from the old folks home.

Anybody see "Rocky Balboa"?? My wife's first question upon seeing that movie: "why is he wearing mascara?" His face was coated with a thick cover of makeup. His ageless beauty is applied with a stick.

The knife looks sweet – I am sure that we will be able to buy a crappy 47 dollar version soon:)
