First knife(1084) WIP

I was going for something like this....

Ah! Those outer edges were hit with a router for that. BushMonkey Knives (BMK) does some nice routering work on his handles. Might check out his site for some ideas on that.

What did you use for pins? They look a little, how to say, unfinished? It looks like you peened them but then again it doesn't. The front one where you ground for the finger groove looks a little funky. I agree that the handle looks a little too exposed under the scales.

Also, is that your makers mark on the blade? The lighter area between the scales and blade?

Other than those comments it looks pretty decent. What did the overall length turn out to be?

The pins were a mess up. The two in back are sex bolts. The third bolt didn't work due to the finger groove, so I had the make a pin from aluminum rod. I tried buffing the hammer marks out but the bolt actually recessed itself while peening it. The makers mark was a test. I didn't have a design so I cut a random shape out of electrical tape and tested it out. Like I said I learned alot and can't wait for my aldo order to get here!!!

Very impressive. Would you consider smaller jpg sizes so they fit better on the screen? A 1936 x 2592 JPG is a little big to see everything at once.

Oh sorry. I can't control it. I don't have Internet so I do everything from my phone. I didn't know it was that big... I'll have to reevaluate my set up
