No thanks, I think it's ugly. They could release a $20 budget version of this knife and I still wouldn't buy it.

It's an 'ok' looking knife- the ZT0888 is a much nicer piece, but as myself and Kershaw mark 40 years having the same birthday, I'll be all over this knife.

She is one gorgeous blade, but this is going to cost one fat wad of cash. I expect around $300-400 street price if it is a production, at least $400 and likely more if it is a limited.

Do want! I'll wait to see what the street price is but I'm glad to see Kershaw still getting some high end attention.

I for one like it alot for those of us who collect. Like others have said its suppose to be over the top and flashy.

So are many of the "mall ninja" gas station knives people mock here. If those were all limited editions would people suddenly be drooling over them too? I understand this knife is going to be a collectible, totally get that. I just find it funny how many people mock Tac Force and Dork Op stuff and call it over the top and gaudy(and it is), but suddenly have no problem with over the top and gaudy when it's collectible.

I think there's a little bit of a quality disparity between a $3 Tac Force knife and a $500 Kershaw limited edition.

The difference is this is still a ti framelock bearing flipper with a solid zdp-189 blade... Not a 'surgical steel' blade with pot metal handles...

Love the name & model #, love the spec's- the steel & Ti, the blade coating, the accents... Could do without the graphics but its understandable on this knife. I'd actually love to have one because of the blade alone but I'll never afford it.

I don't want to be disrespectful so I'll say it like this, if you can't see/tell the difference between "them" and this, I really don't know what to tell you?

I can say I anxiously await more details on this sweet piece. I think it's an appropriate piece considering the occasion.

Lovely collectors piece! I do wish they would make one non-anniversary that I would be willing to use tho, as I really like the lines of the knife. Maybe as a nice US production piece in S30V, that way the ZDP stays as their 40th celebration blade.

Looks to much like a billboard, get rid of all the ad's and i'm in!

Lock side is gorgeous!

Well considering is to celebrate the company's anniversary, what do you expect. The whole thing is supposed to be a billboard that says we're 40 years old and look at this kick as thing we can make.

I would think something like what they did on these Skyline's would have been a much better look on this knife.
