First Look - Kershaw Knockout

Any update on the Knockout from those who attended BLADE? I'd like to see how people liked the knife if they were able to handle it, and if they were able to see the g10 or aluminum.

I see that Protech, Microtech, Hinderer and Sypderco knives with colored scales seem to sell well. You used lots of color on 7000 auto, got both purple and green so far.

Color it up Bro!!! Or offer accessorization options. Look at the aftermarket auto business and how many guys would like to mod there 551's but don't as few guys that do custom scales charge cost of a new knife, ( though I get the custom one off time value )

Ford cars were all black at one time too, til they progressed.

Black sells on a knife ;) 'Till the majority of people's tastes evolve, that's what is probably going to be used.

No BLADE atendee here, but last I heard it was definitely going to be G-10 since it holds up better in the long-run than aluminum and provided more flexibility (with colors I guess)

What is considered a normal knife for you? Have you checked out anything from Zero Tolerance? The new Tremor? You must have giant hands :p

The VOLT (Ti edition) had a 4-inch blade which pretty much all sold last year.
 
Yeah i know its going to be g10, was just wondering what they were showing at BLADE. I'll have to fly down there one of these days...
 
Great looking knife. All the features im looking for too- flipper, a/o, deep carry 4-way clip.

slightly disappointed in the switch away from the aluminum, but theres nothing wrong with a good G10 handle.
 
Yes it is assisted.

I personally prefer g10, aluminum scratches and gouges look bad. I'd prefer the stop pin being slightly thicker though.

Overall I like this very much :)
 
Really hoping this comes out soon. Got the money for one burning a hole in my pocket.

Yeah, that's rare, and one of my main gripes about most all clips -- I much prefer that none of the knife is exposed above pocket line.

This looks pretty much like the Buck Vantage series clip.
