First Look - Kershaw Piston

The cool pattern and shape of the aluminum scales were a big part of what really impressed me about this new design...the switch to G10 doesn't really appeal to me. Kinda disappointed, although I might be the only one...

Nice, I love g10. Do we get any pictures of the knife with new scales?
 
man i really loved the look of the aluminum, and i like the toughness of the aluminum handled knives i have. You ought to keep the aluminum and ditch the G10 or make both.
 
I will hold opinion until I see the G-10 version. I like G-10 but the aluminum scales were very appealing to me.

I liked the look of everything about this knife the blade shape (very Brend like), clip and aluminum styling.
 
I just told myself this morning I wasn't going to get anymore knives this year...

Can you confirm whether the production piston will also be thumb-studless?

I buy your knives specifically because they are flippers, thumb studs are ugly and redundant for me at least. I guess I understand how some people might want them.

This is pretty much the perfect knife for me, especially with the G10 scales... it's EXACTLY what I've been looking for.
 
Thomas what had me loving the piston and knockout was the fact that they were aluminum. If it would be at all possible to have an aluminum version as well as g10 I would be ecstatic.
