I was hoping to remain silent here, but now I've been called out...
Thanks for the comments everyone - it's nice to hear that you like the design. While I am proud of how it turned out, it's important to note that these projects are completely a team effort, and we have some amazing people on our team. The R&D machinists are artists themselves, and without their skills and talent this knife would be a shadow of what it is. And those incredible prototypes would not be here at all. It's the group working together that makes these kind of projects possible.
I know I sound cheesy, and I'll probably get some crap over this post, but I just wish you guys could see all the people involved. I am amazed every day at the way they make these concepts become reality.
Chuck from Alpha Knife Supply mentions that it is an upgrade to N680 with better edge holding, toughness, and is a cleaner steel(which might mean it's a powder steel). So can anyone tell me what to expect from N360? I haven't heard much about it or how it stacks up to other steels.
fffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ZT make a 3" blade pleeeeease!

Just get someone to grind down the blade for you, then. You can always neuter a blade yourself, but you can't make it better (larger).
