First Look!! ZT & Emerson Collabs - Made in USA, Feared around the world!!!

So I guess my ZT0777 M390BLK is not going to be my last ZT purchase this year?

HOLY STANLEY, MOTHER OF OBAMA!!!

But seriously, I can't wait to see the Microtech version... Oh wait, did I say that out loud? :)

The ZT/Emerson collaboration doesn't list their KVT bearing system, so I'm guessing it may not have it.. If it did, that would be smoothest and fastest Wave opening.

There's not really a 'need' for carbon fiber and M390 in the knife, but I still want all three! ;)
- I was thinking the same thing. My ZT0777 was my first KVT knife and it is unbelievably smooth. A Wave with KVT would be even better.

I think KAI is knocking them out of the park with some of these new models.

Now the wait.

Yes, I will be buying these both, let there be no bout a doubt it!

Do not go there.
I've long thought that Emerson has some of the most beautiful blade designs around and the handle ergonomics are close to perfect, but I've always hesitated on the purchase because of the chisel grind. Any hesitation is out the window with the 0620CF. Currently have my left kidney on ebay so that I can buy each of the new offerings.

The chisel grind is only on a couple of knives, the more well known are the 6, 7, and some karambit variants. There were a few others that had it but have long since been gone. Best to study up on what you are buying, look at pictures, watch videos, read reviews, ask questions, you know.
