First Look!! ZT & Emerson Collabs - Made in USA, Feared around the world!!!

The chisel grind is only on a couple of knives, the more well known are the 6, 7, and some karambit variants. There were a few others that had it but have long since been gone. Best to study up on what you are buying, look at pictures, watch videos, read reviews, ask questions, you know.

My bad. I misspoke. Should have said edge, not grind. And I understand his reasoning behind it, I just wasn't a big fan of it. That being said, the ZT collaborations will be must haves for me.

Awesome. No eta huh.......good! More time to beat the crap out of my horseman before I put one of these in my pocket.

An Emerson design with ZT quality and materials? Yes, please! I just hope there's no chisel grind (or edge) on these.

Wow... They look freaking awesome. Definitely the first ZT in a while that I absolutely have to have.

The ZT/Emerson collaboration doesn't list their KVT bearing system, so I'm guessing it may not have it.. If it did, that would be smoothest and fastest Wave opening.

I would rather it didn't to be honest. There's really no need for it.

3.6" blade, .157" (4mm) thick... Combined with Emerson's blade design, that is going to be a very beefy and heavy blade. Once you get any amount of momentum going on it, it's just going to fly open. Take the 0550 for instance... It also uses PB washers, but it is has a phenomenally smooth opening and closing action.

So where is my $200 3.5" ZT RJ Martin?

I'm with you on this one. Something nice and sleek to wash all of this heavy duty Hinderer and Emerson down would be real nice. (not to say that it wouldn't be tough or to say that the 0562 and 0620 aren't sleek, just... a different feel)

I love me some ZT but Emersons don't jump out at me so I'm going to have to say Meh

Damn it!!!!! That really looks like something I am going to have to try.

I'll take 2 of the CF version, please. This would be a great addition to my matched set collections.

I'm usually not a huge tanto fan but put me down for the m390/CF.
