First of all, hello! This is my first post here so if I am somehow an idiot in what follows please let me know! :D Thanks!

OK, I have posted a couple of photos on a few firearm forums I frequent, but I thought I should share here also. I recently started looking into knives more and after getting a few I decided I wanted a new fixed blade and started looking around. I found a company that I had not heard mentioned here making custom knives and was able to find out a little with Google and everyone was happy. After looking for a while I emailed the owner and after trading a few emails I made my decision and ordered.

I decided on D2 Steel, bead blasted, with blue and black micarta for my knife. I waited just three days over a month and got my knife, and am very happy with it and am now planning my next one!

What do you think? Did I do good for a total of $65 shipped? I think so but am interested in what you have to say.

Your just not sneaky enough bro :thumbdn:

WOW, this is really an interesting welcome. What the heck are you talking about? Do you think I am advertising or something, as I am not. I wanted to share my knife with the users here as so far all I have done is read. I'm new here so if I did something wrong tell me straight out. I was happy and thought others would like it, or I hoped so anyway. Should I take out the info on who made it and the link or something?

Either you have the best spamdar I have ever seen, this guy is for real, and you shoulda let this play out, no need pointing fingers until we have a little more info.

O btw thats a great knife, what kinda money is that running?

Maybe we're overly suspicious, but experience has shown that when a newbie shows up with effusive praise for a vendor, including contact information, a direct link to the website, and even prices, and claims to be a satisfied customer and have no other connection with the compay he's shilling ... over 90% of the time it's spam. Maybe it isn't, this time. Anything is possible....

I fixed your post

Finally someone not thinking I'm a spammer/troll or something.

It fits my hand very well, it is a small knife about 6" total length. It was $65 delivered as shown and as far as cutting I have played with it a little but I need to get a fine edge on it yet. I know D2 is pretty tough stuff so I need to get something to sharpen it, I only used little sharpeners before. I'm looking for something good to work on it, I have been looking on here to find out what is recommended. I used a sharpener at Gander Mountain this weekend on my Kershaw and it worked pretty good though I was in a hurry and did not see how much it was.

Still a newbie at knifes really, wanted something to go with my main hobby of guns and shooting and this fits nicely! I have been reading, but aparently not enough on here as I'm still lost about the start of the thread. Spamming a problem here?

Well heck, then I'll remove the info! Geeze........

Sucks to be new around here huh?

Yeah my amazing combo of flashlight and flash on my mouse pad, sure is spam. The lighting was perfected in Vista photo fixing tool. I took 7 and got two good ones.

Amazing praise? Really now, I said I liked it and was asking how I did. I'm still learning my steel types and the like and was asking for honest feedback.

So if I pull this post and start off by asking a bunch of newbie questions will I be received better?

No... depends, as in real life, how you introduce yourself.

There are unwritten (as well as written) rules of conduct in all forums.

I know that, I am a member on many gun forums, though this is my first knife forum. Also on computer forums and a flashlight forum and have never ran into this before. Should have asked questions first I guess, I was just excited at the start of the new hobby, but I think I'll just read mostly from now on.

If a Mod wishes to contact me please do, no harm meant at all. Sorry for all the ruffled feathers here. What a way to start.

Editing your post was a good idea. Now for what I really think.

Blade looks good, like the sheath.

Thank you, and thanks for the back handed compliment on my photographs also. I really was using a HP 4MP no zoom camera to boot! My wife was in New York with the "better" HP camera so I used the old one. I plan on getting a Canon soon, but no DSLR for me yet!

Sheath came with it, I like it too. I did request a left handed sheath and got a right, but that is no biggie as I wear a pistol on the left a lot so it will work fine.
