You just finished your first knives, and now you already have a big pile of hex 'hawks? Bladeforum has created a monster!

LMAO!! Yea they have.

I already have a couple more project ideas on the drawing board. But they wont be started till next year. Fun stuff like the little hawks. I enjoy coming up with stuff like that. Its a good mixture in between practicing my grinding.

Im also planning out my 3rd knife now as well. Havent finished the 2nd one yet either LOL Still have to do its handles.

But right right now im cleaning all those blanks up and hand filing the bevels. Its not as bad hand filing these little guys compared to that larger knife i hand filed. Plus i got me a Magicut file now and that thing cuts a lot faster than my bastard double cut file.

Don't you just love that feeling?!

It gets super addicting. Keep up the good work my friend :D.

I sure do!! I have always loved a razor sharp knife... BUT I love it even more when im the one who created that knife!!

Thanks bud!!

Noted. And i apologize. It was never my intention to try and sell anything in this thread.

Understood. I honestly wasnt trying to sell anything here. I just showed what i was working on and one thing lead to another. I do apologize though and next time i will direct any comments to PM.

I tried looking back, but maybe I missed it: what kind of adhesive did you use?

Getting ready to start on my first project for a friend (not my first knife from scratch, a couple of blanks he wants me to finish).

I used System Three T-88 epoxy. Worked well.

Good luck with your project bud!!

Now that those little hawks are gone to heat treat i have some time to play!! I got the handles rough cut, holes drilled, dimples drilled, cleaned up, and epoxied. More to come once the epoxy is cured. Using Madagascar ebony on this one.

Great work:thumbup:

I've been wanting to sit down and sketch a few fixed blade ideas, then turn them into a CAD drawing. I'm lazy though:D
One day...

Thank you bud!!

Hell i wish i knew how to use CAD, i tried one of the free programs that had a tutorial at the start... I couldnt make it past the tutorial LMAO.... But im not great with computers.
