Monster bass

If thats a monster bass, then how big is your hand?

sarcasm dude the little dude grabbed a jig 2/3rd as long as he was . Snapped the pic and returned him to the water to grow up. I was fishing for 5-6 inch bluegills to use as bait

Nice fish, got a white patch a couple inches wide on the tail.

It was a weird night... high 90's in temp and got it in only 12 feet of water. Most of the rest of the summer bite has been much deeper than that. She took a 4" shiner tipped jig.

Up here I find the shallower ones are a darker colour like yours.

Nice fish buddy!

Ya all in one day on two lakes in North Western Ontario. Also caught a few walleye and perch. Every species of fish(5) within 5 miles of me ha!
I used to do a bit of guiding and worked for a fishing lodge so if you make your way north I would be happy to pass on some good spots and tips.

Where aboots northwest? Same deal here in the algoma area, cool to see another ontario'er!!

I live in Manitoba but do a lot of fishing north of Sioux Lookout and Lake of the Woods.
Can't wait for fall fishing!

Same, can't wait for the white fish to starting surface rolling. Lake of the woods is an amazing place! Worked around there a couple summers.

But this morning went and cought about a dozen lake chub to salt soak for a night or 2 gonna go hit some pinks on St. Mary's river. Also might go grab a new fenwick elite tech. Been a while since I've treated myself to a new rod. The kiddo has kept his quantum in decent shape so I'll prolly pass him an Abu.

Been doing lots of sockeye salmon fishing on the Fraser river this year since the run started in mid august!

Man, I love fishing snook... As a Northerner, I brought my pike gear down to the Naples FL area for years to fish them. I always hooked smaller guys but one day I hooked a 36"+ one... had her on until she realized she was hooked... she almost pulled me off the jetty before the line broke. Great pics! How did you catch that size grouper from shore though?
