AKA: so much for getting my credit card payed off :o

I just purchased a Walter Brend / Bobby Branton #2 and I think I'm done as far as fixed blades are concerned. I told myself I wouldn't pay more than $400 (Busse TGLB) for a fixed blade and this was a bit more than twice that... but I guess that's the price you pay for perfection. The reason I say it's perfect is that I can't think of anything that needs to be done to it except to carry and use it.

I'm a carbon steel guy when it comes to most fixed blades - but that is a very nice knife!

Pretty sure D2 is all he uses.

I think you made the right choice. Buy what you like the first time and you'll save way more money in the long run.

Picked up a Terzuola designed CQB from Camillus USA, and that's about how I view it...

Can't see anything that needs to be done with it except for add it to the load-out and pack it proud.

While there is certainly value and satisfaction in having your cc paid off, so too is there in owning an awesome knife. I myself had that exact same knife for about 3 years and just recently sold it. It was very hard decision for me because I loved the knife, but simply could not bring myself to use it, and hence why I sold it. If you were going to have one favorite fixed blade though, the choice you made is exceptional. Use the heck out of it!

Oh, you mean to tell that you arent going to drill a wave into it or scribe your initials? Cool knife, congrats.

Can't go wrong with a Brend IMHO...:cool: Nice score CM!

Also; we need a cool knife emoji. :D

That's such a nice looking knife that I feel like I'd be failing it by buying it, since I hardly use any of the fixed blades that I already own.
