Fixed blade perfection.

Yup. I can honestly say that I'm done. I won't be buying any more fixed blades.

Beautiful CM. Brends are sexy as hell. Use the hell out of it. Wish I never lost my #2.

Nice blade CM!
Like that stamp...
Dang, now I'm gonna have to look those up!

There's none to look up.:foot:

Hey CM.
After seeing the video, I realize that you got a good deal on a knife you cherish.
I'm sorry I didn't realize the rarity... Practically made of Unobtanium.
I like the grind as well...
And that the tang is visible throughout even in the guard area.
I like all kinds...
I prefer fixed blade, but it doesn't stop me from carrying a couple folders.
Anyway, good score man!

Your Ti knives shipped today via UPS ground service.

That's a sexy blade you scored Matt, I've always wanted a Brend #2 but like you mentioned they are around three grand these days for an 8"blade. I've seen a few around lately just too much $$ to use and wear down, although that might take a lifetime. You basically got a hand ground Brend for a steal if you ask me. Congrats,

So after getting the Socom Alpha, I am selling the Brend. Not the most carry friendly knife. As much as I like it, if it doesn't get carried, it gets sold. I can equate it to CCW of a .50 Desert Eagle. The Marfione Socom Alpha is more like a 9mm USP.

So are you selling the Brend you had just said would be your last fixed blade? I mean no disrespect, just wanted to make sure. It was cool blade. I know what you mean about ease of carry.

Yup, that is what's happening :(

That's one sick looking knife, I would of kept it. Why don't you make a fixed blade for yourself, I've seen your Tantos and they looked really good.

Aw, too bad, that Brend was sexy as hell. The Marfione is nice too...just...not the same. Hope you like it though...and I really hope you don't regret selling the Brend after its gone.

I have learned not to get attached to things/people. This came out of many hard knock experiences. I will never have enough money to allow myself to own something that doesn't get carried and used. I just purchased a surface grinder and magnetic chuck... that ran me $2300... so at this moment, I especially can't afford to keep a safe queen... which is what this knife would become.

My priorities in order:

Being armed

Making knives

Finding the perfect knife
