Fixed blades for EDC! Limited!

Any idea where to find these guys? Can't find these companies on bladeforums.

For those who feel the same as him in terms of price point vagueness, just use a 150$ limit.

This is the latest necker/smaller fixed blade from Heathenknives. CruforgeV for $50. Great price, killer work. Comes with a kydex sheath. They can be found on Instagram. Smaller makers, great prices

I was in the same situation as you a while back . Looking for a small fixed blade EDC that was tough enough to really put to work . Busse was my answer . Here is what I have carried as an EDC knife for the past couple of years .

The Busse Magnum Bear Cub . 6 5/8" LOA , 3" blade tip to handle , 5/32" thick INFI steel . INFI is a VERY tough steel that can handle a lot of impact or lateral stress . I have batoned with mine several times . It carries well in my front pocket and is comfortable in the hand for such a small blade .

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

take a look at the Fallkniven Juni. although the factory drop sheath is very well made, I quickly put the factory leather up and started carrying it in a KSF pocket sheath. I always carry a small fixed blade, and this little Fallkniven is the first one to kick my Izula II out of my pocket in well over a year.

Yes, take a look at the Juni!

Pricey, but HQ materials and great F&F!

The only fixed blade i ever carried as an EDC was the CRKT ringed razel...I bought the knife because it looked different and i thought it was cool. I took it to work to show a few people and it turned out to be the best WORK knife i ever put in my pocket !!! and that's where i carried it...in my front pocket. The retention on the kydex sheath was really bad but that ended up working out great for me...easy in easy out!! I worked the crap out of this knife, I cut cardboard, heavy gauge rubber, zip ties, nylon tie down straps, plastic hydraulic line, I scraped old conspicuity tape off of rusted metal, stickers off of glass, opened paint cans, i even used it once to break into a car to get a friends keys he locked in the car...3 years i used this knife in a weld shop, I never intended to use the knife for work but im glad i did. I pretty much sharpened the belly out of the knife but its still kicking..Sometimes ya never know, things just surprise you !!! I only wish they would come out with an improved model...better steel etc.

The perfect gentleman's fixed blade. I have been drooling at these pictures. If only the price was a bit lower. :(

If the price would be lower, You wouldn't get the nice laminated powdersteel...:)

Yes, but I could live with a good quality but cheaper steel. :)

So could I too, if we are talking VG-10 the way Fällkniven has it made.

However, the 3G steel shines in this knife.
The edge on my Juni is very thick for such a small knife, but this means it stays sharp for very long periods of time (like Months).
I do regular maintenance with honing on leather and smooth ceramics, but no real need for re-sharpening.

If I drop the knife, the low weight helps in avoiding any damage to the edge and this adds to the feel of a robust little knife.
I have even batoned it into firewood, to open the wood for a wedge and the Juni just laughs at the effort. :D

I think it's ok to call the Juni a nice Gent's or Ladie's fixed knife.
You're always properly dressed with a Juni at hand.

Mikael
