Fixed Blades You EDC?

I always carry the ESEE Izula II as a neck knife

...Love the knife, sheath is just "ok" for me though. Functional and looks cool, but unsure how durable the leather frog over kydex design is going to hold up over time.

One I definitely plan on getting a new sheath for in the future.

Tooting my own horn here, but if the kydex holds the knife pretty well, you might try simply an accessory and save some cash:

Here's my own preferred fixed EDC: made by Tim Johnson (timos- here on BF) of Blackstone K&T

Rides in a leather sheath in the pocket with a nite-ize eCLIPse so it stays in place when I draw the knife.

Bradford Guardian G3 is always on my belt...horiz carry as designed.
Great knife.

I don't EDC a FB but I do carry one from time to time. A Benchmade 162 Bushcraft. I like the knife and it performs well but, if I had to do it again. I'd go for a Survive! GSO or a Carothers field knife. Maybe a Bark River of some sort.

Horizontal sheath carry.

Stuck this one in my back pocket, on my way out of the house this morning. It is still a favorite of mine, when it comes time to put a small fixed blade to work.

For fixed blades, I usually edc either a Bark River Woodland or a Bradford Guardian 3

I just picked the Nyala up for something very specific but I've had it on my belt now for a bit and I think I might EDC it.

EK&T Companion around my neck with an attached flashlight and/or ferro rod, though I'll (rarely) mix it up and carry a Folts Minimalist blackwash drop point; horizontally on my belt, left side abdomen. That one's a bit risky in the Summer here in the Netherlands though. It's legal, but socially taboo.

When camping, I used to add an ESEE 6, but I no longer have that, and the Morakniv Companion MG (carbon steel, forced patina) is more suitable anyway.

Oh, and an Izula in my day bag. Despite owning dozens of folders, and carrying a SAK, I guess I'm really more of a fixed-blade guy.

Hey man sorry, I know that i'm way late answering you. I love my Bravo EDC, mine is sporting Elmax steel, which is surprisingly easy to maintain and takes a wicked sharp edge. I bought a kydex sheath from DLT Trading and put a Spyderco g-clip on it and never looked back. A great belt knife or neck knife in my opinion.
