Fixed blades

LionSteel calls this model the Willy, I heard tell because it was a design borrowed from a fellow named Wilson that they saw him using such a knife in a pub cutting up items for customers.

Nice looking little knife there, so I looked it up on the LS website. This is what they have to say about the name:

Willy is designed by Gianluigi “Wilson” Simonella, for his whole life a custom knife maker, artisan of raw materials and one of the Italian knife makers Corporation (CIC) founders.

Your anecdote sounds nice though and is not necessarily contradictory. 👍

My info was from a youtube reviewer that sounded about right ;) but nonetheless, it's a nice small fixed blade for sure. I have sharpened it up a bit and cuts much better now, the ones shown at shot show were custom made ones with hollow ground blades, where these are flat ground, a hollow would have been nicer I think since it is a small knife.

Was looking at this on White Mountain Knives site, on my list of knives to consider in the new year as I have already way surpassed my knife purchase quota for the year. She looks gorgeous and classy.....

Last week I tried to order a Terava 140, but they were temporarily out of stock. I ordered a 110 on Wednesday, it shipped Thursday, and received it today. The knife ergos are great. I love the spine being full thickness up until very close to the tip (it is a utilitarian knife that will get some hard use). The handle is big enough to allow thick gloves (already had snow here), is very nicely shaped. The Boltaron sheath seems very secure, but allows drawing smoothly. Blade is nice and sharp. I will be taking it with me to my cabin tomorrow to get some chores done and will find something to cut!🤣

I will be getting a 140 and 200 soon.
Well I used the Terava 110 for some chores at my property, cutting some branches/wood/paracord/thick zip-ties, and through some truck bed mat (makes great protection for tie down straps holding down side-by-side against trailer frame). I really like this knife. Super comfortable and very easy to control cutting. If you have ever cut truck bed mat- it dulls blades pretty quickly. I simply stropped with green paste less than 10 seconds and it is hair popping sharp. I will be using this worker knife a lot in the future.

The 200 is next on my list.

You can add trevitrace trevitrace to that rich guy collection group.

Poor little fellas like me trying to get scraps
I've only got a handful. No where near some of the guys on here. There's a pic Nate posted awhile ago of someone's collection and it's absurd to put it mildly.

Here's the bulk of my collection.
