If you don't mind taking a second, it'd be great if could tell me a bit about that Kansbol and how you like it. Thanks in advance.
It's a wonderful knife imho.
One of those knives that make you realise quality doesn't always have to be expensive.

At first, the feel of the rubbery material of the handle is very pleasant. Very light weight and super compact round shape makes it disappear in your daypack

The thin stock makes that the scandi grind on this knife works for more than just wood. I love this knife for foordprep too. And the thin grind on the tip is very versatile imho. Thin stock makes it not the best in splitting wood, but it does ok there .

It's weakest point is probablt the sheath. Mine rattles a bit. But still retains the knife though. It feels as if it'll wear out sooner or later.

And almost forgot, it looks kind of pretty with the 2 tone handle and unique grind :D

Thank you.

I agree with you. It's very aesthetically appealing to my eyes. That's why I wanted to see if you would tell me a bit about it. Again, much obliged.

Depends on what you consider a clip point. I think the RMD is pretty clip pointish and they have quite a few like that.

If you’re talking something with the obvious one like on a Kabar I don’t think there are very many. They love them some drop points.
Right, when i think clip, i think buck 119. But perhaps Wild Willie Wild Willie would take a less pronounced clip?

Those are very much clip pointish enough. Thank you.

Indeed, those are right up my alley. The 119 is almost too clippy. I guess a hybridish sort of thing is what I had in mind.
Stupid me, almost forgot I owned one lol.

Until I saw this... Perhaps exactly what I'd like in a Busse when the time comes.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input.

SYKCO 511,711,911 and SRKW Camp Tramp, Battle Rat, Rodent 6, M6, M9, RMD, etc.
Those all have that “clipish” point like the RMD, and that’s clip point enough for me to call it one.

There’s a heavy predominance on drop points with Busse. I don’t mind it. They poke well enough and they’re stout enough that you won’t snap the tip off.

There’s a lot more than the ones you listed if you go really old school like the killer bees, groove master, buffalo soldier, stuff like that. There was a bunch with that type of tip that haven’t been around in forever.

Busse and kin are the absolute gold standard of what a “hard use” knife should be defined as.
