Great first impressions of my new knife

I always enjoy your outings. Not a lot of pics of scenery, but simple and consistent. Very good way to keep in practice.

Thanks, appreciate your compliment alot :)
Somes I wonder if my pics are not 'all the same' if you scroll by them and get a bit boring for others...
I try to capture how I enjoy using my knives the most in my pictures, not just the glamour shots (others do those much better than I ever could ;) )

This is my only fixed blade that escaped the recent knife clean out. Spartan blades horkos that I bought when I met the owner of the company at the Costa Mesa knife show years ago. Not a fan of the sheath but the knife itself is perfect. Tough as hell and edge retention is great on their s35vn. I cut a tire off a steel rim, through the sidewall and belts on both sides with no visible damage. Still cleanly sliced paper without issue.

It’s very similar to the P&L in terms of dimensions. 6” blade length (5.5 cutting edge), 11” overall length, .21” blade thickness and 11oz in weight. Low Temper 3V steel.
I love that size range of knife. It rides in my backpack. This handle looks very comfy too, which may give the p&l a run for its money.

One thing that I love about the p&l is busses warranty. I have zero hesitation to pry or use the p&l hard af, if for whatever reason i break it (likely impossible) busse will replace it.

How's volunteers warranty?

The S.A.F.E. Knife is officially in production with my mid-tech company. I need to start a thread on this in my subforum to post updates and get some feedback, but we are full speed ahead. Some of the handle components are already complete, and blades are in progress. 100% made in the U.S.A.
