True EDC pocket fixed blade - Dauntless Manufacturing x Matt Helm „Dogbone-K”

how do you like it? I was in a deep search for an EDC fixed blade, finally decided on the Schwartz Overland Sport due to so many glowing reviews. Helm, White River M1, Wilmont K23, Bradford, and BGM were all in the running. I still might get a BGM because I like the blade style so much; maybe the White River for the wife :D

I've been using full size Dogbone for about a year, and now I got also Dogbone-K. It's a perfect small EDC fixed blade in my opinion. But full size Dogbone is not much bigger, but MUCH more versatile. deep-carry kydex that Dauntless manufacturing provides it's just awesome, and makes it TRUE fixedblade pocket EDC.

A forged Bowie that I was very lucky to receive today. It is made by South African Master Smith Kevin Harvey. For those who don't know, he and his wife Heather Harvey who is also a Master Smith run a bladesmithing school named Heavin Forge in SA. First time I bought a knife from them and I could not be more happy with the knife and the very friendly and helpful contact.IMG-20240105-WA0139 HF.jpg
