The Steel Eagle will never lose its mystique.I know that they're "old hat" and have lost any mystique or intrigue that they may've had, a VERY long time ago.
Despite that, any day I get to spend a little time with one of my 107s, they remind me why the 7" Steel Eagles are still my FAVORITE knives...

Those are actually starting to grow on me a lot. Nice example!
That looks great! This one just needs a sheath and edge:

Awesome lunch, of all my little stoves that firebox nano is my favorite. I do like my Soto windmaster too though.Went outdoors for lunch today
Made a bunch of fatwood curls to get my stove going

Thought all the rain had passed... NOT ... quick covering everything up

Ok, time for a little fire

Opinel 12 saw and Fiskars X5 hatchet helped out with firewood prep

First... boiling water for some fresh gingerroot tea

Done!

Next up: fry some Rösti

Hmmm... forgot my wooden spatula... time to improvise
Fiskars did the rough outline

And after a bit of finetuning with the Esee 4 we have a spatula

Rösti done!

Now for some sausages

And last heating up my baked beans

Man I'm hungry now

Had a great afternoon again
