That's a tight taper - very nice from here.

Ok
I have to ask what model is that Wenger? Not seeing it when looking at website. Is that B Goode a Grimlin?
Inquiring minds want to know. 😀

Wenger is a pilot model without saw back or fullers. 5/32 Nitro V from 2022 ( a little heavier than its bells / whistles cousins ).

B Goode - not sure that model has a name. I believe two of them were made. From the maker - “kind of a camp / combat knife. A camp knife that stabs”. 5/32 01 steel ( scalpel sharp ).

Alone Alone you know what they say, when a knife bites you, it loves you, well you have a whole harem of mistresses/wives who love the hell out of you. Lol

oh and navman that taper sexy af

Anything I miss?

I'm sure it's very beautiful ...under there somewhere ?

Yeah , too subtle for me . I don't get it at all . Why not just a nice obvious brass bolster ?

Surprisingly I did it for weight, and ballance. "Bling" comes later.
With this design, I counterbore my hardware that I hand make myself.
I'm not sure if I'm always going to make my Own hardware, but I mostly do. A few I havent. It takes me sometimes over an hour to an hour & half to make $6 of hardware.... So it's actually Stupid for me to do it, I could just buy them like everyone else..... But I feel It Does add something special. Even though they don't always look very nice. I don't have a lathe at home, and they often turn out to look like "Googly Eyes" but I still do it.

If people start complaining about their looks, I could save tons of time and frustration.... But then it would be less of Me. Less hand made.

ANYHOW, my aluminum fastener registers near that brass holding it down securely, squeezing it like a sandwich. If it was a skin, just at the surface my hardware would go Through it and not have clamp force.
If I used really thick brass, it would of been heavy for kitchen work?

I thought it looked Cool, but I don't have an eye for style....hence the Boring Knifes

*I like the look of brass, and Will use it more.
Copper, bronze, aluminum, brass.... 😍😍😍😍😍😍
