If you are considering using a Mummert clip, know that there are different ones depending which part of the sheath you plan to attach it to or how you want it to ride in your pocket or on belt. This thread has made me consider carrying a fixed blade as my EDC. At least for a while. Already have a few picked out. I wanna try that carry style where the sheath goes in my side pocket.

If you find a system you like, you will love a fixed for edc.
It will make sense as soon as you put your hands on them. I like to carry my SDFK and some other knives tucked inside my belt on left side as cross-draw, and smaller ones still on left side/front while others on my right side. Depending on carry preference, placement and ride height, as well as what you are clipping to, you may want the clip on one side or the other. I absolutely love the Mummerts. They are very secure on both belts, waist of pants, pockets- and they do not chew up material. There are some cool colors/finishes as well. I love the excellent design. They also don’t get stuck with snow/ice. I occasionally put a small loop of paracord inside the clip if I am wearing one in pocket of nylon snow bibs, just to make it easier to unclip by pulling outwardly on the cord.I think I just need to buy Both left, and right........just to see. Because otherwise it's not going to make sense

More to consider: Edge forward but clipped to waist of pant, or pocket/belt, inside or outside belt? Etc… They also allow for a slight cant on a belt. I swap out clips on some knives depending what my plans are.Very good Info.
I carry edge forward, so in my mind, I'm thinking I need the opposite as what is normally right.
I think? I think I want a left handed one for right hand carry, idk?
I really like what I see of them....part of me wants to include them with My sheaths, for others....but so many ways to carry, it might not make sense for Others.... especially since a lot of knives just go in a bag

I wear Tek-locks frequently as well as I like to carry blades 6” or shorter horizontally much of the time, and tip up on suspenders for snow bibs and waders. Having the sheath rivets spaced to allow for options is hugely important to me.
Maybe carrying a couple of different clips to include at customer request would be great.
I think the Mummerts are so great, that I will say this to you. If you get a couple to try out, and don’t like them, I will buy them from you.
Pairs …. Nobody truly „needs“ both. But different enough to carry on different days / for different purposes .
All settled and recuperating from the stress.of it all.....?????..........Gotta be nice to awaken in heaven each morning!!!!! Enjoy..........
