Fixed blades

I'm assuming you are talking about the weird lumber thing... thats for mounting an outboard on a canoe.

No criticism intended. You just keep on taking pictures, Butch; that's what you're good at. May have misquoted Sundance there, but the intention is the same.

The knife is the TD Outdoors Protecteur and I read it is made of Mox steel. I just collect knives and will probably never cut anything with it. But I think it is a neat little knife. The only problem i have encountered is that it is really difficult taking it out and putting it back in the sheath.

It looks like the "Rescue Knives" that you used to see canoeists clip to their life jackets.
