Winkler said it was Leopardwood. They made a very small batch. I was sold on it before he said it was a really rare one. Liked it so much i bought it even without the Military discount.
I did look at some pictures of leopardwood and i too felt it might be something else? But i really only know regular woods like maple and walnut. Rosewood or Ironwood.
I love Rosewood. Not sure why more knife makers don’t use it more. I have some nice Buck fixed blades with it.
