It’s a stunner! My favorite scale material and color, as well. Too bad it’s not coming back.Been waiting on this amazing tanto for awhile. Joe knocked it out of the park with this one!
22 layer suminagashi with a san mai core of Hitachi blue steel. Joe then went crazy polishing the blade.
The guard is made from the same steel, we talked about a pommel, Joe talked me out of it. He said a more traditional style, would look better. With those antique emerald micarta scales, I couldn't agree more!
