Matt's (cmftw) early work was a little rough too, I'd wager most people's early work is rough unless they apprentice under a maker and get taught everything.

Early work becomes highly collectible if you keep at it and build up your numbers and recognition.

You've always had an eye for a comfy handle which for most people is the most important part, the rest will come along. Plenty of well known "successful" knifemakers make complete shit knives and turd handles. I'd take your work over these established dudes all day and twice on days that end in Y.images.jpeg

I've always had a flair for design and Art.
I also used to be a toolroom machinist, so that helps tremendously..... Even though I do everything freehand. It still helps with knowing things.

I might of already started with "equivalent" of a couple years, just with my past. Idk?

I've been really Happy and Fortunate with the attention and support I've received here on Bladeforums.... I'm constantly wanting to give back...... Hint, I'm 99% sure I'm doing Another Giveaway, or something this year. Pops is replacing a large batch of steel I had. I told them I'd do something promoting the steel.... Just trying to figure out what kind of knife? Stay tuned. :D

That knife makes me weak in the knees. Haha. It's near perfect!
There is A lot going on with that knife/design. I Love making field knives.
I have 3 main styles of field knives so far, I think Field Knives are kinda like my pizza.....
With all the different toppings, I'll never get sick of them. I could eat them Every day!
