Looks like a winner from here. I have a feeling that one will just get better with use and age.I just finished this one up.
It's parkerized Pop's ProCut at 63 HRC.
It's my first parkerized blade. I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up.

The canvas pouch looks like it might be an M14 ammunition pouch, designed to hold two magazines for the M14 rifle. John

The old M1956 Buttpacks, were always great for storing extra stuff. That way, if you had to drop your ruck, you still had a pack to hold extra things.

Thank you. I used it to make kindling for a fire today and it basically didn't touch the park. If it(the parkerizing)holds up well, I plan on using it more.

Thank you. I'm trying it out in my pocket. It's a little bit cumbersome in It's pancake style kydex sheath. I might sew up a leather pocket sheath for it. Having it farther in the pocket and slightly slimmer would make a big difference in comfort.
