Fixed blades

A heavily appreciated MAC Nakiri

There was a time when I was looking for longer straight edges. Hard to find something decent and non-custom longer than 4".

This one is quite unique, hollow ground, too .... 6.1" x 0.21" Sleipner, made in Spain. Heavily black coated originally; which was an easy fix, except for finding metric scale hardware. The original white on black print on the blade survived the stripping, laser cut, I guess.

First time having a FBBO and MBBO together in progress at the same time! Pardon the tape smudgies!

Those look great! The sheaths on the smaller pair look like they’re perfect for waistband carry.. good job

I’m not certain what’s up with the handle yet, knife is new to me and I haven’t fiddled with it yet. I’m thinking the guard has slipped down?
Yeah must be. Only thing I can think is the kraton shrunk enough to let it slide down.

Cool blade just the same though.

Thanks! It's based off of the Benchmade Bugout, but with a slightly longer/wider handle and a bit more of a ricasso. The MBBO is based off the mini bugout, again with a little longer and wider handle and blade. I love the Bugout size/shape, and wanted to make something similar fixed blade wise! It makes for a great vertical or horizontal EDC type blade and is big enough for basic hunting tasks. A few of these are in Montana with professional guides and their clients, so they get put to good use!
