Fixed blades

Here was one I did a while back for a guy I worked with. His dad was 5th SFG in Vietnam, so he wanted me to incorporate the 5th group flash in the handle. Turned out well.

Amazing work!

So good!
Any favourites?
I have different favorites for different situations/purposes. (All edc size)Some times I'm feeling extra slicey pokey and willing to give up some tip strength and will go for my half face blades humint, other days when I want a more rougher but super slim/light carry the koenig helo is my go to. When I know I'll get a little rougher I'll grab the busse mountain duty sawback. Lately the work tuff devil horn has been my go to though.

General beating in the bigger mid size I favor the p&l statement.

Man, if I had to chose favorites though, balance, finger safety, looks and build quality heirloom is the bodyguard.

Do you edc a fixed blade?

🤣 its a joke because they took over survive! Equipment and models etc lol
I got the joke.....

I never owned a survive as I didnt trust that guy, guy.....but id bet these are far better than his. these folks know how to use the equipment they bought and I bought on the 4th got today.......so no bad business preorder nonsense......

Thanks, That's the Ben Seward bodyguard.
Very nice! Thought that might be it, wasn't sure. I really like mid-sized personal fighters. I have a couple, but the Al Mar Shiva is about as close to perfect as it gets.

I've always been a fan of the same school of design as the Bodyguard, but never took the plunge. I can say the same about several other styles....

The mid size fighters are awesome, Ben made this one for me after we met at blade show in 2017? I told him I didn't want a recurve and that I'd be using it on the farm. This one has poked pigs and deer and did great. The balance and ergos are perfect, and his heat treat on the w2 is fantastic, the tip hasn't taken any damage despite hitting bone on really hard stabs.

The Shiva looks like a well balanced and comfortable piece as well!

I dont edc a fixed blade but the 3.75ish-4.75ish inch blades are my favourite of all categories and knives. And I like you, prioritize or at least lean towards a thicker and stouter blade and tip over sliceability!

Im downsizing and selling a lot of my stuff but here are some of my favourites
