FK2

^Some absolutely beautiful wood handle scales. Thanks for posting. Tough decisions. Maybe darker for acid wash , lighter for satin. I dunno. Innie meanie miny moe!!

Hey Adam, I've also been agonizing over such 1st world issues going back and forth! After seeing this pic (Thanks Nathan) I finally got my relief; the darkest AfBW to make my preordered satin FK2 (harder / thinner) to complement my UF & DEF in similar fits and finishes, making them a trifecta. Had I gone with Cocobolo with the aforementioned, then I'd be going with Cocobolo to make a congruent set. I've been going back and forth a lot about what I'd be absolutely keeping and what I'd be selling if the SHTF for realz.

No matter what you chose, some of this stuff will never be seen or offered again.

Mat the AFBW is an excellent choice. That setup will look beautiful and having a trifecta makes the decision that much easier no doubt. I don’t think there is a wrong choice to be had. I had to check my invoice from last October to remember what I selected. It was swedge acid wash with satin flats . I’m thinking Cocobolo or AFBW. Have people sent in their request to Jo? I have not and if they picked whatever they felt best of the three I would be ok with it.

Adam, you can always send in your request to the Mighty NinJo :)

Those wood scales look amazing!

I'm thinking I need a FK2 in my kitchen knife block. Anyone use theirs for kitchen duty?

I'm a city slicker and don't often have a need for a fixed blade. This would be my go to for when I needed one. Yearly camp trips and going on hikes in the woods stuff.

Too bad I missed out on the hard thin w swedge offerings.

I had asked Nathan a long tome ago about what he had thought of the harder / thinner iteration for kitchen duties to which he replied: no problem.

The regular FK2 is a great knife also, and very sharp!

I'm also a huge fan on ironwood... and the FK2... and ironwood on the FK2.
