I missed the pre order on these but I laid in on the sale forum for a few days and grabbed a couple at non flipper prices from some good guys here. This is one of them. Possibly my favorite CPK model ever. It’s very well balanced and, like every single Carothers knife, is sharp as shit straight from the shop. I don’t have a BFK as Friday sales and IPads don’t mix at all, but I’m not sure I need one now. I believe this is the superior of the two. Probably why it comes with the signature. 😃

I think that's spalted fiberboard from rotting "wood" harvested after a trailer park tornado that I attended. Or it could be Arizona Desert Ironwood. It's hard to tell from the pictures.

It was going to be some practically new, barely used, popsicle sticks that I salvaged from a dumpster behind a ice cream store called "Lakeside OBGYN". But I ran out of it.
