FK3 show and tell

The FK3 is perfection.

My amateurish photos are not, though. The black and red micarta looks true to life but I couldn’t capture the real color of the VIP. Actual color is a much more consistent and pleasing light brown throughout. In the pics, the light spots and dark spots toward the rear of the handle is much more pronounced than in real life.

The VIP is probably my second favorite micarta, second only to ECAM. It has a great feel. Old school micarta is best micarta.

Something about these stonewashed FK3!
I love my ghetto satin but that stonewashed is cool. Maybe they seem more durable? That’s probably it. I don’t want to scratch my satin finish. I better baton some wood soon and get it over with.
