Recently got an Olight S1 baton. Tiny light with loads of power and cool features. Great EDC light!
 
thanks for the writeup. been hearing about those klarus's. gonna have to check them out.
 
received my Peak Eiger Ultra today. First impression: love it! it's already in my pocket. thanks to everyone for the recommendation(s).

just a quick mission home today for lunch. but, i will try to remember to post a pic(s) later.

If you like the distressed look you'll like these patina:


The best part is that patina 35 in the 1st and second picture has been carried a TON next to keys and knives and it's barely noticeable.
 
i do really like the looks of those. :thumbup: but, i am guessing those would need to be clipped to your pocket, right? i expect that they have too large of a diameter to just drop in your pocket?? how do you carry them? (thanks)
 
I carry my Boss 70 in my pocket with the clip. It doesn't bother me as I actually prefer stuff not in the bottoms of my pocket.

In your case I think the boss 35 would probably ride in your pocket with little issues but the 70 would be a tad on the large side.

You guys need to stop posting pics of those "Bosses". I'm never going to be able to get a JK Hawk if you keep tempting me like that. :(

Look at it this way, you can do a shadow puppet show with these fancy flashlights, can't do that with a Hawk!
 
I know you already purchased a flashlight but if you need another suggestion for a AAA or AA I would have to suggest the Lumitop WORM for its 3 modes or a Microstream running a 10440 because of its crazy light output in such a small factor.

don't have the brass one, but I've bought 3 Lumintop AAAs this past year and they've become a favorite if mine.
Hard to beat for the price IMO
