Flea market finds

It was a pretty good day at the flea market yesterday.

Two mint colonials, a junky Camco that was part of a package along with a vintage bicycle, and a really old thing that was marketed as a fleam but it think it's possibly a modified letter opener (What do you guys think?). I can't see an advertising company putting their own promotional information on a fleam. Whitehead & Hoag was a huge maker of advertising buttons for the most part.

Did anyone else score???

And...the bike (sharp, but not in a knife kind of way). Now all I need is a grandchild to ride it!

Excellent results from your flea market trip, Mark!:thumbup:

Great stuff Mark  I'm going to be busy with work this week and will have to miss my local fleamarket, but I did find this in an antiques centre yesterday

I have no idea what that Whitehead and Hoag is.
I'm sure it isn't a fleam, and I doubt it's a letter opener.

The Whitehead is a ink eraser. It was extremely sharp and used to scrape the ink off paper.

Thanks, better than leaving empty handed for sure.

Ditto. Flea markets and antique stores are some of the best places to find nice knives.

Whitehead and Hoag was a company that supplied advertising stuff like buttons, pens....yada, yada, yada...

Well that makes sense, an ink eraser!

Great stuff 👍😄 if it wasn't to be a fleam it would be an old Erasor. Wonderful finds!!

Oops Wolf beat me to it.

Neat styled Bike.

I like that old ink eraser. I think a relative had a Schwinn Bantam like that one except in red. Nice finds!

Thanks jack I really like the cub scout on but has a blade wobble wondering if I can fix it

Nice I got a cheap 80t last flea market looks pretty rough and one blade was broken and ground to a scraper but hey it carved the wooden thing that got a chick to like me so it was worth the money. Ain't flea markets fun.

Right on man.

I found this a couple years ago in a cigar box full of lead sinkers and swivels at my local flea. I paid $20 for box and all.
