Folder around $600

I'm looking to buy a nice folder around $600 (rough limit, but not much more than that). This will be by far the most expensive knife I've ever purchased (hell it will be more than the gun I carry LOL) so I'd like a little input.

What I'm looking for:

"Tactical"-type
Preferably stainless steel
Would like a flipper but not absolutely necessary
Framelock preferred

I don't have a need for a hard-use folder, just average knife uses.

The two that I have in mind thus far are the XM-18, as I think even Jesus recommends it, and RJ Martin's Q36.

Any others that I should consider?

CRK,XM18, RJ Martin, Yuna, Kirby Lambert, Galyean Pro Series,Jens Anso,Todd Begg all have great knives.

add to that Randy Doucette.

Personally, I'm partial to Doucette, Begg, and Lambert.

OFC, IMO, the cream of the crop is Brian Tighe, but he doesn't make framelocks to my knowledge. He makes button locks. I love the Tighe Coon.

I just got a RJ Martin Overkill-Fantastic knife...RJ is "the man" if you want a

flipper. I bought a lighty used RJM Trooper on JD for a good price.

Todd Begg makes some Very Nice Knives!

Go to the custom knife section under General for some ideas....I think the

best makers have already been mentioned on this thread thou. :D

Most custom frame frame locks are made out of titianinum not stainless as you are looking for.
