Folder

Uncle Jarvis---Jah! I've come to realize the raw simplicity in Warren's blades. My knives; Busse Warden, WT#2 folder, and a Mission MPT TI. The rest are gone!!

Hell yea,

Some people don't understand...

Good to see you are on board...

If you don't have an account with USN network I recommend you get one. WT has his own forum on there.. I have my sights on one of his neckers.. So why would I buy a HACK

Wat you talking about.. Warren Thomas makes amazing stuff. His knives serve a different purpose. Just like How the Busse cultelli, BAD serve their purpose. I can easily break any of those blades with min. effort. Not every style of knife is supposed to be beat on.. WT are in a whole different league than Busses.. The crafstmenship is far superrior..

I like titanium and carbon fiber for handle material, but not for blades. They look cool, but what everyday purpose are they intended for? Opening envelopes?

As far as the craftmanship goes, they use different processes (because of the different materials), but I wouldn't say one was superior to the other, they both make excellant products.

LMAO :D, A Warren Thomas can do a lot more that be used primarily as a letter opener.

Thanks for the USN info, Uncle Jarvis!
WT's can do more than open envelops! Think harder!! :)

Yes sir. It is an Anso .. Makes a very sweet precision slicer or necker

Is that little damascus one made by Jens Anso? I like it.

Oh... FOLDER DEATH CHAT (what's a death chat anyway? Still don't get it...)

Well, it looks like you have used your Busse, but your pictures don't look like the WTs have been used. You still didn't answer the question, what do you use your WTs on? I just don't see how the carbide/titanium edge will last, it has to be pretty soft. How do you resharpen it? How many times can you resharpen it before the carbide is gone?

I am not a Busse only person, I have/had fixed blades and folders from many other makers, I.E. Krein, Mayo, Graham Bros, Siegle, Strider, Randall made, and others.

BUSSE FOLDER!!!!!!

.

When the picture was taken the WT was received in the mail 24hrs b4 that.

There is no need to sharpen the WT s ... They will never get dull... Special huh?

It is great for anything you would use your folders for. Its also very light weight so "if" you need to shank someone there is no worries about fatigue or hand cramps due to rapid stabbing motions. :) Good stuff !

As loyal as I am to Busse, I'm crazy about the CRK Sebenza and it's served me very well. I'll soon have the Umnummzaan, and from what I hear about it, it'll take a lot to pry me from it. Jerry's going to have to come up with something incredible (that's at least 62rc if not 65) to convert me as folder wise....I'm pretty loyal to CRK. I'm also a Benchmade fan as well because of the axis lock. In my opinion, the quickest easiest one handed lock out there.

I guess that's why Jerry's taking soo long on designing/releasing his folder. He's got to come out with something truly incredible in order to compete with what's out there. There's no question that INFI is the best, but the design of the knife as a whole will make it or break it.

I have faith that he'll come up with something great, but he's competing with the best out there that have been making folders for a long time....some custom makers ONLY making folders. No question about his fixed blades. I'm obviously nuts for them...they're my favorite, but I'll see about the folder.

pbubsy---Get ready to say good-Bye to that Umnumm, when the Busse folder rolls into town!
Uncle Jarvis WILL be the first one to bust that Busse folder!
And Jerry knows it! ;)

I cant tell from your tone if thats a joke... The people at TAD have told me when I go in there that if you use it frequently it will wear down and that you have to send it in to get replaced...

Why do you think they will never get dull? What have you used them on?

(If thats wrong I'd love to be corrected, they are sooo beautiful I'd love an excuse to buy one)
