Folders illegal in NYC

some really nice production folders on that table...didn't see that but I remember others saying in the past that stores in NYC didn't sell knives at all.

NYC has been trying to be Britain for years when it comes to guns, knives and everything else it's political class doesn't like. You're just witnessing the boil maturing.
 
As a NY'er seeing that table and how they were "confiscated" makes my blood boil.
I never realized how many ignorant people live, work and VOTE in NYC. Sometimes you get the govt you voted for.
Just take a look at the mayor they re-re-elected. A man who screamed term limit up and down Manhattan when Guiliani wanted to stay in office after 9/11.
Ironically the little midget mayor petitioned that he should deserve a third term because the city "needed" him.
 
There are a few thousand people up there that make sense, you are one of them.

I cannot figure that place out anymore than I can figure Baltimore City out. I guess that's because the same mindset is running both of them.
 
I thought Massachusetts was bad but damn that's just flat out extortion. There is nothing illegal with the knives that major retailers sell. The folks in NY state need to band together and bring a class action against that nazi asshole imho.
 
I like how they made someone open up every knife on the table to an unsafe angle for people that obviously know nothing about knives.

I hope the morons that perpetrated this nazi like action chopped their fingers up while demonstrating these tools of the devil to their friends in the press.

Why is this a-hole not in jail. Extortion is against the law. If New York state won't do it then the people must. How do NYC citizens tolerate blatant crime from their flipping DA?!
 
waaaiit a minute, i see some spydercos in there. all the spydercos that I own can't be flickeed open like a gravity knife, well maybe except a well lubricated police. why are these classified as gravity knives?
 
Yes, extortion/blackmail, whatever you wish to call it is illegal. But our society as a whole has become to lenient and carefree about being oppressed by morons like Vance.

its because they do the "spydie drop" to "gravity open" these knives (they hold the blade, and flick the handle really hard to justify them as gravity blades). Theres a link to a video somewhere on the BF that showed them doing that.
 
Aww man... That's to bad. I'm visiting NYC this October and I was really hoping to get a couple folders since it's hard to get good ones from where I am.

It's not so much liberalism as it is authoritarianism, you know? The Original Guardfather back in the 1980s, production was shut down by a conservative, someone who would become an ultra-conservative Congressman from Georgia, Bob Barr. He considered a spike a "blade" and declared it a Switchblade.

Authoritarianism is the main problem and you can find that in both parties and all political ideologies.
 
Really? Why? So we can use the real definition of it, your definition of it, a hijacked definition of it or what? It's such a whored out word that it is almost meaningless now, like "racism" and "bigotry." They get used and misused to much, they are basically whatever someone wants to use as a weapon against another.

Authoritarianism, however, is pretty self-explanatory.
