Food & Traditional Knives

Grandkids here today. They're on the grumpy side. Not enough sleep and too much sugar from trick or treating last night. Ye old standby..... DUCT TAPE!!!

Hope they cheered up Gary ;) :D

Cast iron cornbread, collard and turnip greens, smoked sausage from Fishers of Muenster Texas along with my favorite case stockman from fellow forum member Eric sorry I couldn't get the pic to load

Made a big pot of green split pea with ham soup today. Did the chopping, slicing and dicing with my Santoku that is handled in Rosewood that came from Tony Bose (a gift from Vince VCM3), and a Krein Micro Chef. Gotta say the Santoku does a better job at it, but the Micro Chef is no slouch.

Peregrin Peregrin Always such tasty and healthy meals at your place Gary, both you and your wife seem to be very satisfying chefs  No wonder all those Wild Turkey come calling at your property, :D the only Wild Turkey coming to my place is the bottled kind, but it's not unwelcome:cool:

Thanks! I'm a fan of liquid Wild Turkey myself! ;)

If someone told me it would be sunny and 70 degrees on November 4th, I would have derisively scoffed at them. ;) (My retired English teacher wife would be proud of me!)
But, I'm sitting in our 3 season room, enjoying some of my green split pea with ham soup, that I made yesterday. Also enjoying some left over garlic Parmesan chicken wings. Life is good!

What a great place to have lunch Gary, looks delicious :)

After the incredibly greedy breakfast I had with my pal this morning, I struggled to eat so much as a snack later! ;)

So Jack, is that the greedy breakfast or the snack? Either way it looks good to me! ;)
