Most of the lutefisk suppers around here have required a reservation, and sold out quickly, due to pent-up demand from Covid. A lady friend got us a rez at West Immanuel Lutheran, between Osceola and Star Prairie. It was for late in the day, so that little dollop of orange in the foreground was the last of the mashed rutabagas. The cream sauce on the fisk is Swedish style, so the knife, only present for the photo op, ia a Mora, natch.

I loves me some snails. You don’t see them very often around here. If they do appear on a menu, you can be sure that the tab for dinner is going to be hefty, whether you order them or not.
