Food & Traditional Knives

Once upon a time, my wife and I had breakfast at the Real Food Cafe. As usual, I took home part of my meal and ate the leftovers as a meal the next day. Here is a photo of what was left of my farmer's omelet, home fries, and toast. I added some broccoli. Looks like I may have hit the omelet with a little Tabasco sauce.

Thank you Jack.

Your meal looks so fresh, Jack. I’d start with the cashews and work my way down.
Thanks Harvey, it was delicious :) I usually have a Thai beer with my food there, but I'm on the waggon for a month, so just had a coke ;)
It wasn't bad! I'll have it again tomorrow.
I might join you buddy! :D

Based on the salsa jar and the 5OT lockback on the plate, this is probably a photo of a Saturday or Sunday lunch in mid-March. Looks like I mixed some vegetables (probably green pepper and onion) into an egg, fried it, and sprinkled some shredded Asiago cheese on top at the end. Then I put it between 2 slices of wheat toast, at least one of which had the blazing red hot cherry salsa spread over its surface.

But then, for geometric fun (and because I'm an elegant and refined epicurean), I dissected the rectangular sandwich into 4 dainty triangular sandwiches which I consumed with beans and beer. Lunch for Lord of the Manor!!

Cutting sandwiches like that definitely adds a POSH factor Gary! 😁 I cut Tool Man a piece of cake like that last week, and he was very alarmed by it! 🤣

Cheeseburger from Saturday

Jack, even thought I wish POSH were my middle name, I try not to be alarmed by food, and am shocked that Tool Man was alarmed by triangular cake! 🤓 I've seen some photos you've taken of him approaching a monster sandwich in a manner that puts his jaws at risk of dislocation, and that's something one does NOT have to fear if a sandwich is dissected into numerous triangles. Those triangles let one approach a sandwich from 3 different directions at acute angles that don't tax the jaw at all!

Your cheeseburger (and corn) look good; it's been far too long since I've had a cheeseburger, in or out of Paradise!
