Food & Traditional Knives

Thanks, Charlie! :)
I used to read Blondie every day in the comics page of the newspaper when I was a kid, but I haven't thought about Dagwood and his monumental sandwiches in a LONG time!🤓

My 80 year old brain goes way back!! I always liked the absurdity of Dagwood's mile-high sandwiches!! With whole chicken legs sticking out of them!!😂😂

Lunch as predicted!! Multigrain sourdough, slathered with artichoke dip; next, h.b.egg, and crunchy pickle slices, then sprinkled with black moroccan olives, and black pepper!! All slicing/cutting, including pitting the olives courtesy of Tony Bose!!😋

green onions (or spring onions or scallions, whatever they're called) this weekend and cleaned them up to use in cooking
I love a creative sandwich! There are endless possibilities. I’ll admit I was hoping to see some of those green onions in the stack!

That looks like it was a good one, Charlie!:cool::thumbsup:
We should keep more boiled eggs in our fridge, especially during the summer.

Here's another recent "invention", with potato salad again, and grapes, and some sriracha-infused cole slaw that my wife got with a sandwich she ordered while she was out and about somewhere, but the slaw was too spicy for her.

Sounds fantastic! Here’s something I “invented” for an airport breakfast last week: Chick-fil-A hot chicken transplanted into an everything bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese. I am not a fan of the chic fil a buns so this definitely took up up a few notches. A couple sitting next to me at the bar told me they were going to steal my idea and post it on instagram so I am laying claim to it right here.

Apologies for lack of knife content. This was at an airport so, no knife.

That Chick-fil-A bagel sandwich looks fantastic!:cool::thumbsup:
Do I see some cheese on there? Does your chicken come with some ingredients already attached by Chick-fil-A?
(I've never had anything from Chick-fil-A, even though my city got its first one 9 years ago, I think. At the time, one of the student teachers I was supervising was from Atlanta, and she was SO excited that a Chick-fil-A was coming to Grand Rapids, MI. 🤓)

GT, thank you sir! I’m not a huge fan of Chick as many are but their spicy chicken sandwich is pretty good. The original comes with no cheese just pickles. The deluxe spicy chicken comes with pepper jack cheese and extra sauce. I just pulled it off the soggy bun and planted it on the bagel.

Sounds like you maximized your use of available resources!🤓
I'd eat one of your inventions with gusto!
