Anybody remember these?

It's a Jet-Aer G96 5001. You used to see G96 knives advertised in the back of a lot of magazines in the 70s, and I remember displays of them on the counters of hardware stores and the like. This knife was made in Japan, it has a heavy, substantial feel to it, and has a pretty decent blade. These weren't expensive knives, but they would have certainly been a good value.
