For those curious about the difference in the Tri-ad lock vs traditional lockbacks

I was thinking the same thing. Why would this douchebag bully point out I don't have forum friends and give me advice on how to act in life? What a strange, strange angry man. :)

Well there you have it, we're more on the same page than I thought.:D

Oh, and I am strange, just not angry.;)

And don't forget, you can still enter my giveaway...because if you don't, you officially hate kittens (It's on the internet, so it MUST be true).

We are all big, dumb kids...who cares...

I've loved the Spyderco lockbacks I've used and owned. Some of the models are real classics and have served people well for years, they are definitely good, legit knives. Endura, Police, and Native were some of the very few folding knife models that held up with no issues at all when I would inspect, sharpen, play with, and talk knives with other guys in Iraq.

The Tri-Ad lock is a better design than a traditional lockback, but not everybody likes the models that utilize it so far. I love the ones I've owned and handled. My $38 Voyager is a cutting maniac compared to any Endura past or present, but not as slim and sexy.

Playing the devil's advocate it'd be interesting to see how a Stretch stacks up in a side by side with the American Lawman.
