Oh my life - that's an *enormous* knife!!! It's more like a short sword! lol!!

If that's getting shipped to Sweden, it's going to have to go on an ocean liner!

Bryan, yer growing 'em pretty big there in Nebraska! Is this the largest Breeden Razor ever made?

If that knife were made from "Spring Steel", it would have to from the spring of a MACK TRUCK!!!

I'll try to hit the woods tomorrow and do just that.

Battons like a dream with a scandivex type grind. Slices and carves like a mora.

Frank, No that is not the biggest one made.
This one is it has a 12" long blade.

Hey Bryan long time no speak lol, what would be the price of that "Badass" that you are sending to nyen?
If there`s going to be one in Sweden, there most certainly should be one living in Norway too, LOL....
I think that would compliment my 7" Warthorn and my wifes no-namer perfectly, LOL...
I just might have to save up and order one from you, Mr Breeden, lol..

All the best to you and the wife from Simen (Norway)

hej Martin, yes yours is 2.5" wide just 2 inches shorter and cuts likes like a 10" straight razor. If I get a chance on Monday I will make a video of it cutting paper for ya.

Simen, yea long time on hear lol. Martin ordered a finished blank all he will have to do is put his handle of his choice on and then make his sheath which is what he wanted to do.
As to price I make knives now for fun, not to pay my bills like I used to do, just pay for the materials that you want which I do not know what you want, and I will make it up and send it out. It is a whole lot cheeper since I do not charge for my time. Sooooooo E-mail me at tacklebreeden@yahoo.com or give me a call at
402 300 0058. I had a call from the land of Bosnia:thumbup: a month or so back so give me a call if you want and we chat and go over the specs for a another knife for ya.

Chat with you all later,

Bryan

WOW!!! Bryan that , that, - that's not a knife !!! It's a short sword!!!!

And here I thought we Americans were the ones that envied Scandinavian knifemakers... :D It's nice to know you Nordic gentlemen can enjoy a fat spine as well.

You know payette, they almost only make small scandi-knives up here, with the exception of leukus and the likes....
And you can have only so many of those knives (atleast me thinks so, LOL).
But you can sure get a funny look when you walk through the woods with something bigger than 7" blades, Mwahahaha.....

I hope it's not the Norwegian Police looking "funny" at you!!! Otherwise, you'd be posting from behind bars... we don't want that!!!

<hehe, no not the police, but other hikers and outdoors-people. They carry (maybe) a Brusletto or Helle, but most times they have a Mora or something in the pack.
If you see someone with a "big" knife, it will be a leuku of some sort, (they biggest one they sell is usually the 9", but people buy the 8 more often I think.

As to the axe-thing: I usually see scout-size axes, Fiskars or Øyo.
I`ve grown fond of the big blades ever since I bought my 10" Stromeng leuku, CS Trail Master, Ontario SP10 and SP5....
Always bring my Grensfors or Wetterlings large hunters axe too, And the Browning Crowell Barker comp chopper has been my fav for some time now.
I`ll tell you when you bring that one to whittle sticks for barbequing hot-dogs on the fire, people have the reaction to pull back, then as they see me work they want to look at it, LOL.... Same thing happens with the axes... (I guess the old tradition have died out a little, and I take the task upon me to get it back, LOL......)

As it should be! Good for you. What good is a norseman without his steel?

Never leave home ahead of your axe and shield, for you cannot feel a battle in your bones or foresee a fight before it happens.
