The flats on this one are really nice too. It's definitely a new surface finish for me. If the light hits the flats just right you can make out some very fine machine marks but otherwise they look like an unmachined surface with the tiny, pretty, INFI dimples that we all love.
 
Just because...my CF collection so far. Apologies on the pic quality - was just packing them up in the Pelican case to go nite-nites and thought I'd snap a quick pic. Got a maroon canvas and two more black canvas coming. And then the NUKES!!!

Awesome pic! When I got mine my first thought was "I should probably catch and release this one", but looking at your pic made me think "I better not. These things are going to be worth a whole lot of money someday". Lol!
 
My one and only is tucked under the pillow in its cardboard sheath at night. I 'll probably order some Kydex pants soon, still plan on making a leather sheath.
 
I received my FMV8 a few weeks ago (black micarta, midnight blue blade) and ordered a kydex sheath from David Brown. The sheath arrived very quickly. It fits perfectly and has great retention. I'm still playing around with the Tek-Lok to see if I can find a position I really like.

:D I hear ya. You all will probably reap the rewards of my divorce sale if my wife ever finds out how many V8s I bought. And I have no idea how I'm going to hide the V14s. At least my guns all "look the same" so I can sneak new ones in.
 
Just received mine yesterday. Pretty sweet beautiful comp finishes on these. Can’t see how it can be any better. Wonder what the nukes will look like. Happy Fourth of July Brothers.
